Coun. Dr. Michel Nasr Hakim

Since 2000, Judge Dr. Meshel Nasr obtained a Diploma in Private Law from Cairo University through which he got into the field of international commercial arbitration, after which Judge Dr. Meshel Nasr joined the Arbitration Department of the State Lawsuits Authority for 7 years and then obtained his PHD in International Commercial Arbitration on the subject of the “Independence of the Arbitration Clause in the light of Private International Relations – a comparative study“ after which Judge Dr. Meshel Nasr assigned to work in the Egyptian Ministry of Justice as head of the Arbitration Execution Office during the period from 2015 to 2022.
Judge Dr. Meshel Nasr currently holding the position of the Vice President of the State Lawsuits Authority in the Foreign Disputes Department; in addition to his ADR experience as an arbitrator and presiding arbitrator in many arbitration cases, institutional and ad-hoc, under the auspices of the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA).
