المستشار نبيل عمران

Justice Nabil Omran is Deputy Chief Justice of the Egyptian Court of Cassation. He joined the judiciary in Egypt in 1979 as a public prosecutor before sitting as a judge. He was also a member of the Drafting Committee that prepared Egypt’s Arbitration Law of 1994.

He is currently on secondment to the Dubai Court of Cassation where he was President of the Fourth Commercial Circuit between January and October 2023, and currently presides over the newly established Commissioners’ Panel at the Dubai Court of Cassation.

He graduated from Ain Shams University in Cairo, obtained a Master of Laws in cross-border insolvency and was a fellow at George Mason University.
