About Events & Training
CRCICA has an unrivalled regional experience in organising events and training, with more than 750 conferences and 150 trainings whether organised solely by CRCICA or in coordination with other institutions worldwide. Topics typically cover new issues in arbitration and ADR and extend beyond to cover trade and international law topics.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, CRCICA has organised and co-organised several webinars relating to arbitration and ADR. As part of its commitment to reduce CO2 emissions, CRCICA will continue holding and expanding its webinars and online trainings.
CRCICA has collaborated with many reputable institutions such as: the United Nations Commission for International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI), the Institute for the Promotion of Arbitration and Mediation in the Mediterranean (ISPRAMED), the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), the International Organisation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), SOAS University of London, the International Bar Association (IBA), and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the African Arbitration Associations (AfAA).
As a credible and innovative partner, CRCICA has worked with several international institutions such as the World Bank Group (WBG), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), the American Bar Association (ABA), the African Development Bank and the USAID either implementing developmental projects in areas of arbitration, ADR or organising events and capacity building in seminal topics.
CRCICA regularly holds its events and trainings in its state-of-the-art Conference Centre which is fully equipped with audio-visual and translation equipment. For workshops and training requiring a lesser capacity or a different format, CRCICA re-purposes some of its hearing rooms as required and shown in the below pictures:
