CRCICA Hearing and Conference Centre

Located in the heart of Cairo with panoramic views of the Nile, CRCICA offers a wide range of services, from the administration of arbitration and mediation cases to the booking of its hearing facilities. CRCICA offers the use of its hearing rooms and breakout rooms for parties to cases that it does not administer.

As the region’s longest-standing arbitral institution, CRCICA is well versed in the specificities of arbitration and mediation hearings. Be it reliable high speed internet access, privacy and confidentiality, audio-visual equipment or even food & catering services, the Centre is ready to provide you with all the needs and requirements of a modern-day hearing.

The Centre offers a range of services alongside its hearing rooms. We understand that parties may have special requests, which we are happy to discuss.

Foreigners (Non-Egyptians) from over 70 eligible countries wishing to visit Cairo, Egypt to use the CRCICA Hearing Centre only need to apply for an Egypt e-visa, or obtain a visa on arrival.

Venue Guide

Named after prominent figures in Egyptian arbitration, the Dr. Mohamed Aboul-Enein, Prof. Mohsen Shafik, Judge Mamdouh Attia, Dr. Nabil Elaraby and Dr. Esmat Abdul Meguid hearing rooms toe the line between modern design and oriental identity.

All of our rooms include:

Dr. Mohamed Aboul-Enein (Hearing / Meeting Room)

The crown jewel of CRCICA’s hearing rooms, the room is named after the late Dr. Mohamed Aboul-Enein, CRCICA’s longest running Director. With an area of 130m2, it can be set up either in a U-shape layout for hearings, accommodating up to 30 persons, or in a classroom set-up for training courses, accommodating up to 50 persons.

Dr. Nabil Elaraby (Auditorium / Hearing Room)

Named After the legendary Dr. Nabil Elaraby, the late Chairman of CRCICA’s Board of Trustees, former Secretary General of the League of Arab States, and former Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The newly refurbished multipurpose hall accommodates up to 135 attendees in a theatre-style setup and 40-50 in a classroom-style arrangement. Designed for versatility, the hall serves as a premiere venue for lectures, training sessions, high profile events, and large-scale arbitration hearings.

  • External welcoming reception area and multifunctional space featuring 2 × 65” Full HD Large Format LED Display, serves as a registration point, a venue for third-party displays, and a comfortable lounge for coffee breaks.
Prof. Mohsen Shafik (Hearing / Meeting / Breakout Room)

At 65m2, Prof. Mohsen Shafik Hearing Room is CRCICA’s second largest hearing room. The room is set up in a u-shape layout for hearings, which accommodates up to 20 persons. For larger groups, this room may be hired as a breakout room.

Judge Mamdouh Attia (Hearing / Meeting / Breakout Room)

Named after Judge Mamdouh Attia. This is CRCICA’s smallest hearing room, with an area of 51m2. The room’s location on CRCICA’s premises puts it closer the breakout rooms. The room is set up in a u-shape layout for hearings, which accommodates up to 20 persons. For larger groups, this room may be hired as a breakout room.

Dr. Esmat Abdul Meguid (Hearing / Meeting / Breakout Room)

Breakout Rooms​

1- CRCICA’s two soundproof breakout rooms,  located on the sixth floor, were designed as the ideal space for parties to retire to during an arbitration hearing or to separate in for mediation. Set-up with a roundtable and armchairs, accommodating up to 7 persons each, the 35m2 breakout rooms are well equipped and quietly stylish.

2. CRCICA’s two meeting / breakout rooms, located on the first floor and each accommodating up to 10 participants, are thoughtfully designed to ensure both privacy and efficiency. The rooms are equipped with built-in shelving to provide added convenience for parties and arbitrators during meetings and deliberations.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

For confirmed bookings of CRCICA Hearing Centre rooms, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via letter or email).

Refunds are applied as follows:

  • Cancellations made at least 10 working days prior to the start date: 80% refund
  • Cancellations made at least 5 working days prior to the start date: 40% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 5 working days prior to the start date: no refund
