Ms. Shireen Fathy works as Senior Executive Officer at CRCICA and Senior Executive Officer at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Egypt Branch.
Ms. Fathy’s current scope of work includes operational and administrative tasks of organizing international events, in addition to the executive tasks of the management of the CIArb Egypt Branch.
Ms. Fathy’s previous work experience at CRCICA since 1995 included operational tasks of the work of the Conferences, Training and External Relations Department and the CIArb Egypt Branch, management of the Office of CRCICA’s Former Director, classification and management of CRCICA’s researches and library, executive tasks of CRCICA’s Newsletter, Database, and Arbitrators’ Society; as well as follow up of the work of CRCICA’s Departments and translation of documents (inter alia, the Arabic translation of the arbitration rules of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce).
Prior to joining CRCICA, Ms. Fathy had a training as a freelance translator and a training at Al Ahram Weekly Journal.
In 2008, Ms. Fathy was awarded by CRCICA’s Former Director, Dr. Mohamed Aboul Enein, a Medal for Merit in appreciation of “Exceptional devotion exerted during 13 years of sincere hard work”.
Ms. Fathy graduated from the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University in 1995 (majoring in the English language and minoring in Chinese).
Ms. Fathy is fluent in Arabic and English with a fair command of Chinese.
