Join the African German Arbitration Cooperation (AfGAC) framework for a comprehensive, two-day Commercial Arbitration Training for Law Students on December 8-9, 2025, conducted entirely in English (proficient command is essential). Jointly organized by the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), LawCom.Institute (Germany), the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC), the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA), and the Hamburg Arbitration Circle e.V., this capacity-building course features 8 modules covering the full scope of international commercial arbitration—from foundational concepts, drafting arbitration agreements, and the constitution of the arbitral tribunal, to procedural aspects, provisional measures, applicable law, setting aside awards, and the recognition and enforcement of awards under the New York Convention. Participants Selection Criteria
- Applicants must be qualified lawyers or legal professionals with a demonstrated interest in arbitration.
- Preference for candidates with 2–10 years of professional experience.
- Prior exposure to arbitration (practical or academic) is an asset but not a requirement.
- Motivation to participate and relevance of the training to their career goals.
- Selection should ensure a balanced group capable of engaging in active discussion and peer learning.
