The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) is organizing the fourth lecture of its MediMonday Series, to be held on Monday, 21 September 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at CRCICA’s premises.
Titled “The Combined Use of Mediation and Arbitration: Unlocking Smarter Dispute Resolution”, the lecture will be delivered by Prof. Mohamed Abdel Raouf, International Counsel and Arbitrator, Accredited Mediator and Law Professor, and moderated by Ms. Fatma Ibrahim, Mediation Special Advisor.
As part of CRCICA’s MediMonday Series—conceived as a curated, practice-oriented platform bringing together leading voices in mediation and dispute resolution—the lecture will explore the growing use of hybrid dispute resolution mechanisms that combine mediation and arbitration.
This lecture reveals how mediation and arbitration work hand in hand to deliver faster, fairer, and more cost-effective outcomes. Mediation opens the door to creative solutions shaped by the parties themselves, while arbitration ensures a definitive resolution when needed. Discover how this powerful combination is reshaping conflict management across industries — and why it could be the key to resolving your next challenge.”
Through the MediMonday Series, CRCICA continues to foster dialogue at the intersection of theory and practice, reinforcing its role as a regional and international platform for advancing mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
