Dr. Ismail Selim, Director of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), participated in the Third Arab Conference on Sports and Law, hosted by the Arab Administrative Development Organization on Monday 29th of April 2024.
The conference, titled “Mechanisms for Enhancing the Professional Effectiveness of Arab Sports Arbitration Institutions,” focused on strengthening the capabilities of arbitration bodies in the region. Dr. Selim’s expertise was showcased on Panel Two, where his presentation focused on the reason why CRCICA was chosen by CAS as its sole alternative Hearing Centre in Africa and the content of the 2012 relevant cooperation agreement between CAS & CRCICA.
CRCICA’s participation underscores its commitment to fostering a robust and efficient sports arbitration landscape within the Arab world.
