18th CIETAC Cup International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition

CRCICA was a supporting organization for the virtual 18th CIETAC Cup International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition held during 15-20 November 2020.
CIETAC Cup, organized by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (“CIETAC”), is an annual professional competition of arbitration. Since its foundation in 2000, CIETAC Cup has been successfully held 17 times, which attracted over 4,000 students from more than 200 renowned law faculties and universities. The goal of the Cl ETAC CUP is to foster the study of international commercial arbitration and to train future leaders in the area of alternative dispute resolution by introducing an international moot court.
CIETAC Cup adopts the same case Problem as the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (“Vis Moot”). CIETAC Cup is the qualification trial of Vis Moot in Chinese Mainland, and the first registered pre-moot of its kind for the Vis Moot worldwide.
