On 27 July 2023, Dr. Ismail Selim, Director, represented CRCICA at the 7th edition LACIAC Live Debates: The Ad Valorem method is the most appropriate form of remuneration for arbitrators”. Ms. Diamana Diawara, Director, Arbitration and ADR for Africa at International Chamber of Commerce, debated in favor of the “Ad Valorem” method while Dr. debated in favor of the “Time Spent” method. Ms. Nania Owusu-Ankomah Sackey, FCIArb, Partner at Bentsi-Enchill Letsa & Ankomah, moderated the debate.
