On 15 October 2019, CRCICA hosted the Alexandria University Vis Internal Moot on 15 October 2019. The Internal Moot aims to prepare for the Shalakany Arbitration Moot (SAM), being the national rounds for the annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Students pleaded their cases before four panels (3 arbitrators per panel). Panels were constituted of arbitration precisionists from Law Firms, inter alia Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy, Adsero – Ragy Soliman & Associates, Eldib Advocates, Shalakany Law Office, Al Tamimi & Company – Egypt Office, Helmy, Hamza & Partners Member Firm of Baker McKenzie International.
Alexandria University Vis Internal Moot was founded in 2018 to spread the notion of international commercial arbitration among students of the Faculty of Law.
