On 17-18 September 2019, CRCICA was represented by its Director at the Conference on: The Settlement of Banking and Commercial Disputes, and Professional Management of the Legal Affairs, held on 17-18 September 2019, at the premises of the Arab League. The conference was organized by the Arab League in cooperation with the Union of Arab Banks.
Dr. Selim spoke at the third session during the first day. His presentation focused on emergency arbitrator. In this respect, he referred to the growth of using arbitration in banks and financial disputes, emergency arbitration as a new mechanism conducted by major international arbitral institutions, the advantages of this mechanism, inter alia; interim and conservatory measures, emergency arbitral proceedings, and the possibility of applying this mechanism in Egypt.
