CAIRO – 12 February 2026 — The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) successfully concluded its intensive, full-day in-person training workshop entitled “Essentials of Construction Contracts for Successful Project Implementation” at its headquarters.
The workshop brought together a diverse group of legal practitioners, engineers, project managers, and arbitration specialists eager to deepen their understanding of the complexities governing construction contracting.
The training was delivered by two highly esteemed industry experts: Eng. Aisha Nadar and Dr. Ahmed Waly. Together, they provided a seamless blend of practical engineering industry insight and robust legal expertise, ensuring a highly applied and comprehensive learning experience for all attendees.
The workshop was structured into four specialized, interactive sessions that systematically addressed the lifecycle of construction disputes and risk mitigation:
- Contract Drafting: Best practices for allocating risk and setting clear obligations from the outset.
- Contract Administration: Practical strategies for managing live projects and preventing claims from escalating.
- Multi-tier Dispute Resolution Clauses: Navigating step-by-step dispute resolution frameworks before resorting to formal escalation.
- Construction Arbitration: Key procedural and substantive nuances of resolving complex construction disputes under institutional rules.
The day concluded with an interactive closing session, where participants were awarded certificates of attendance.
This workshop underscores CRCICA’s ongoing commitment to fostering specialized legal and technical knowledge, bridging the gap between industry practice and dispute resolution, and equipping professionals across the Afro-Asian region with the tools necessary for successful project delivery.
