Cairo – 6 July 2026
The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) successfully organized the third lecture of its acclaimed MediMonday Series on Monday, 6 July 2026, at the Centre’s premises.
Titled “Stories from the Field: Lessons Learned in Mediation,” the session provided attendees with a highly practical, experience-based perspective on the nuances of mediation practice. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Eman Mansour, Executive Director of the Investors Dispute Settlement Center at the Ministry of Investment, Head of the Investment Policies Sector, and an accredited mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in London. The discussion was expertly moderated by Ms. Fatma Ibrahim, Mediation Special Advisor to CRCICA.
Conceived as a curated, practice-oriented platform bringing together leading voices in dispute resolution, this edition of the MediMonday Series drew on real-life cases and extensive professional experience. Dr. Mansour highlighted key lessons gathered directly from the field, shedding light on navigating practical challenges, deploying strategic approaches, and mastering effective techniques during complex mediation processes.
Throughout the evening, the discussion explored how mediators and dispute resolution practitioners can successfully manage intricate interpersonal dynamics, build foundational trust between conflicting parties, and facilitate meaningful, sustainable settlement outcomes. A significant portion of the lecture also reflected on the evolving role of mediation in resolving investment-related disputes, demonstrating its growing relevance and integration within contemporary institutional and policy frameworks.
By organizing this successful event, CRCICA continues to foster vital dialogue at the intersection of theory and practice, reinforcing its position as a premier regional and international platform for advancing mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
