CRCICA and Guangzhou Arbitration Commission Sign Strategic MoU, Strengthening Global Arbitration Ties

Cairo, Egypt – 24 June 2025 – The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) proudly welcomed a high-level delegation from the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (GZAC) for the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaffirming both institutions’ commitment to fostering international cooperation and advancing best practices in arbitration.

The distinguished GZAC delegation was led by Mr. Wang Tianxi, President of the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, and included senior officials: Mr. Zhang Xiaojian, Director of the Case Administration Department; Mr. Zeng Xuesong and Ms. Xie Yongling, Assistant Directors of the Arbitration Secretariat Department; Mr. Liu Haiwei, Assistant Director of the Dongguan Branch; and

Ms. Wang Yan, Supervising Secretary of the Dongguan Branch.

Prior to the signing, the delegation was given a guided tour of CRCICA’s state-of-the-art facilities, offering firsthand insight into the Centre’s modern hearing rooms, administrative infrastructure, and commitment to international standards of arbitration practice.

The MoU marks a significant milestone in strengthening ties between two leading arbitration institutions. It paves the way for joint initiatives, knowledge exchange, and the promotion of arbitration as a preferred mechanism for resolving cross-border disputes—particularly within the financial sector across Africa, Asia, and beyond.
