CRCICA at CIArb European Branch Annual Conference on the Evolution of ADR

The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) is pleased to announce the participation of its esteemed Advisory Committee member, Mr. Tarek Badawy, Partner at Meysan, in the recent Annual Conference of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Ciarb European Branch. The conference, titled “Darwinism in ADR: How arbitration and mediation are adapting to changes in the operating environment,” took place in Athens, Greece, from April 24th to 26th, 2025.

This year’s conference provided a vital platform for professionals in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to engage in insightful discussions, forge valuable connections, and explore the dynamic landscape of arbitration and mediation practices. A key highlight of the conference was the panel session held on April 25th, focusing on “The continuous evolution of arbitration institutions’ policies and practices to meet users’ needs.” CRCICA is particularly proud that Mr. Tarek Badawy, was a distinguished speaker on this crucial panel.

Moderated by Athina Fouchard Papaefstratiou, FCIArb, Arbitrator based in Paris, the panel brought together leading figures from prominent international arbitration institutions. Alongside Mr. Badawy, the panel featured:
