The new rules include provisions addressing, among other things, consolidation; multiparty and multiple contracts arbitrations; third-party funding; and emergency arbitrator and expedited procedures. The new rules also anticipate the possibility of holding hearings remotely or in hybrid form, by videoconference or other appropriate means.
