CRCICA Tops Africa’s 30 Arbitration Powerlist 2020

In December 2020, the Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA) topped CRCICA among Africa’s 30 Arbitration Powerlist 2020: “We take this time to recognize those that have helped in shaping the development of international arbitration in Africa”.
AYA is an association of young arbitration practitioners in Africa, working under the laws of Nigeria, to provide an avenue for senior practitioners to mentor the younger generation, and organizes events and programs to develop young arbitrators and to become part of the arbitration community. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Mohamed Hafez (Counsel and Legal Advisor to the Director of CRCICA) had successfully participated as a Buddy to the Mentor Dr. Emilia Onyema (Professor at SOAS University of London) in mentoring the Mentee Mr. Ibrahim Godofa in the AYA Mentoring Programme for a period of 6 months (2020-2021).
