On 9 March 2023, Dr. Ismail Selim, Director of the CRCICA, was elected by the Committee members of the CIArb Egypt Branch as the Chairman of the Branch. In 2019, Dr. Selim had been elected Branch Vice-Chairman and Honorary Treasurer.
Dr. Selim lectures at the CIArb Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration, University College, Oxford since 2019 and lectures at the CIArb Training Course on “ Law of Obligations and Civil Evidence: The Contract and the Rules of Responsibility and Evidence” (Module 1) and CIArb Training Course on “Comparative Commercial Arbitration, Theory and Practice” (Module 2), delivered at CRCICA, since 2017.
