Egyptian State Council Seminar on “Introduction to CRCICA’s History and Rules”

On 22 June 2019, CRCICA’s Director delivered a speech at the Egyptian State Council titled “Introduction to CRCICA’s History and Rules” as part of the cooperation with the Centre of Judicial Studies of the State Council. The speech shed light on CRCICA’s background, services, rules, neutrality as well as recent caseload, recognitions and awards and international events. The presentation reflected the cooperative, rather than competitive, relationship between arbitration and state courts and the importance for Egypt to maintain its reputation of being an arbitration friendly seat. Attendees were judges of the Egyptian State Council, they showed keen interest in the subject and the speech was followed by lively discussions
