GAR Recognizes CRCICA for the Response to the Coronavirus Pandemic

On 9 July 2020, the Global Arbitration Review (GAR) recognized CRCICA at the 10th annual GAR Awards virtual ceremony paying tribute to the response by the international arbitration community to the coronavirus pandemic. The GAR paid tribute to the law firms, institutions, and practitioners who have begun to adapt and innovate in the midst of the covid-19 outbreak. Dr. Mohamed Hafez, Counsel and Legal Adviser to the Director of CRCICA, represented CRCICA at the virtual ceremony.

It is worth saying that CRCICA was recognized for the measures taken to support its users in response to the Covid19 pandemic, reflected in the “Joint Statement” issued in April 2020 by CRCICA and 11 other leading arbitral institutions. The GAR’s shortlist included, Delos, Vis moots go virtual, The Russian Arbitration Association, Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, ICC, The Africa Arbitration Academy, Prof. Dr. Mohamed S Abdel Wahab, The International Dispute Resolution Centre in London, Maxwell Chambers, and Arbitration Place, The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, and the “Virtual Arbitration” platform.
