Prof. Nassib Ziadé Elected Associate Member of IDI

On 28 August 2023, Professor Nassib G Ziadé, Member of the CRCICA’s Board of Trustees and Advisory Committee was elected as an Associate Member of the Institut de Droit International (IDI). Professor Ziadé is CEO of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR), President of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Administrative Tribunal, Judge at the United Nations Appeals Tribunal, Member of the board of trustees of the Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center and the international advisory committee of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR/AAA),

The IDI was founded in 1873 in Belgium by 11 renowned lawyers with the aim of creating a non-governmental organization that would be free to contribute to the development and implementation of the international law. The Institute received the Nobel Peace Prize in appreciation of its efforts to promote arbitration as a peaceful means of resolving conflicts among states.
