Seminar on: International Arbitration Headquarters: Lessons Learned from London and Singapore in leadership and competitiveness

On 2 October 2023, CRCICA hosted and organized the hybrid Seminar on International Arbitration Headquarters: Lessons Learned from London and Singapore in Leadership and Competitiveness.

The speaker was Dr. Emad Hussein, FCiarb, Accredited International Arbitrator and Mediator.  The moderator was Dr. Ismail Selim, Director of the CRCICA.  Mr Hussein focused on the factors and privileges that enabled Singapore arbitration institutions to achieve leadership and competitiveness over other distinguished international institutions located in London, Paris, Hong Kong, Geneva, and New York.   The Singapore model was presented in light of the integration between the role of the judiciary and institutional arbitration and attraction for parties to choose it for the settlement of their disputes.
