CRCICA Dispute Resolution Review

Guide for Authors:

The Review is interested in publishing scientific research and studies in arbitration, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, issues of international trade law and international economic law. Articles are published in the Review in Arabic and English.

• This Review is not peer-reviewed, the submissions are subject to assessment to maintain scholarly standards.

• Submitting articles for publication in the Review is an implicit agreement to allow the journal to make the article available in any form and in any database or digital repository without recourse to the author.

• Articles must be original, methodical, and unpublished. They should not have appeared in print or electronic form, nor be under consideration by any other journal. Submission of an article implies the author’s commitment to these conditions.

• Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are complete, linguistically sound, and free from spelling or grammatical errors. All submissions must comply with intellectual property protection laws.

• Submissions should adhere to standards of academic integrity, including prohibition of plagiarism. Respect of citation standards and scientific publication ethics is mandatory. When quoting from other works, authors must follow recognized rules of scientific research. The proportion of quoted material should not exceed 20%.

• Use of AI: Authors may make limited use of artificial intelligence tools for purposes such as language refinement and proofreading. However, the substantive content, analysis, and arguments presented in the submission must be the participant’s own original work. Authors must include a declaration confirming the originality of their work and disclosing any use of artificial intelligence tools.

Guide for Submission:

• Articles should be submitted electronically (Word file in .doc –  .docx format) to the following emails: publish@crcica.org

• Title Page must include the article title in Arabic and English, the author(s) name(s) position, and institution.

•  Submitted articles should not exceed 12.000 words including footnotes.

• Submissions should include an abstract in both Arabic and English, not exceeding 300 words combined. Following the abstract, six keywords should be provided in Arabic and English representing the research topic.

• Use the the Chicago Citation system for references and footnotes: https://www.scribbr.com/chicago-style/citation-examples/

– List of References (placed at the end of the article): The List of references should be alphabetically arranged with a clear separation between Arabic and foreign references. Example:
For books: Author last name, first name. Year. Title of Book. Publisher.

For articles: Author last name, first name. Year. “Title of article.” Name of journal volume, no. issue (month/season): page range of article

– Footnotes (placed at the bottom of each page): Footnote should be numbered sequentially at the bottom of each page. The numbering restarts on each new page, ensuring that footnotes are organized clearly and consistently in relation to the page content. Example of footnote citation:

Books: Author first name last name, Title of Book (Publisher, year), page number(s)

Example for citing a book for the first time in full:

Albert Einstein, The Meaning of Relativity (Princeton University Press, 1923), 44–45.

For subsequent mentions (short): Einstein, The Meaning of Relativity, 50.

Article: Author first name last name, “Title of Article,” Name of Journal volume, no. issue (month and year): page number(s)

For the first mention (full note):

Morris Dickstein, “A Literature of One’s Own: The Question of Jewish Book Awards,” Princeton University Library Chronicle 63, no. 1–2 (Winter 2002): 71. https://doi.org/10.25290/prinunivlibrchro.63.1-2.0070.

•  Text Formatting:

Font: Times New Roman

Main headings in 14 bold font

Subheadings in 12 bold font

Text size in the body of the manuscript should be 12, with the same font size 10 for footnotes at the bottom of each page, leaving a spacing of 1.5 between lines, and page margins of 2.5 cm from all directions.
