The Role of In-House Counsel in Efficient Dispute Management

 

Monday, 18 May 2026 – The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) held the second lecture of its MediMonday Series. Titled “The Role of In-House Counsel in Creating Efficient Dispute Management,” the lecture was delivered by Hazim Rizkana, Managing Partner of Rizkana & Partners, and moderated by Ms. Fatma Ibrahim, Mediation Special Advisor.

The lecture explored the evolving and strategic role of in-house counsel in designing and implementing effective dispute management systems within organizations. It also highlighted the importance of proactive legal strategies, robust internal governance frameworks, and the use of early dispute resolution mechanisms as key tools to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and achieve more sustainable outcomes. The lecture also provided practical insights and real-world perspectives relevant to legal practitioners, in-house counsel, and professionals engaged in dispute resolution.

Delivered in Arabic, the lecture witnessed engaging discussions and active interaction among participants, reflecting the growing interest in strengthening dispute management practices within institutional settings.
