Institutional Arbitration between Global Harmonization and Regional Realities
The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) is pleased to announce its forthcoming high-level session entitled “Institutional Arbitration between Global Harmonization and Regional Realities”, which will take place on Friday, 12 June 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Tunis Hotel (Hall: Amilcar 2), as part of the Maghreb Arbitration & ADR Days.
The session will bring together a distinguished panel of speakers, including Dr. Dalia Hussein, Director of CRCICA; Mr. Sami Houerbi, Counsel and Arbitrator; and Dr. Sally El Sawah, Co-Founder and Head of Arbitration & Litigation at Junction – Paris.
Bringing together leading practitioners, representatives of arbitral institutions, academics, and arbitration specialists, the event will explore the evolving role of arbitral institutions within today’s increasingly interconnected arbitration landscape. The discussion will address the growing interaction between international harmonization efforts, global procedural standards, and the practical realities, legal traditions, and regional dynamics shaping institutional arbitration across different jurisdictions.
Through this forward-looking and practice-oriented discussion, the session aims to provide a dynamic platform for dialogue on the future of institutional arbitration and the evolving role of arbitral institutions in balancing international standards with regional relevance.
