IFCAI’s First Webinar on the Wind of Reforms of Major Institutional Rules

On 7 February 2022, the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI) organized jointly with the CRCICA the IFCAI’s First Webinar on “The Wind of Reforms of Major Institutional Rules”.  The webinar was organized in the frame of IFCAI’s biennial conferences, featured interventions by key-speakers of key-worldwide arbitration institutions, including ICC,  LCIA, SCC,  SIAC, HKIAC,  ICDR-AAA,  BCDR, Swiss Arbitration Centre, CAM, and MIAC on a first-time international online format.

The opening remarks, moderation and closing remarks were delivered by Mr. Stefano Azzali, President of IFCAI at that time and Director General of the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM), Dr. Ismail Selim, Secretary-Treasurer of IFCAI at that time, Mr. Jose Antonio Cainzos, President of the Madrid International Arbitration Centre (MIAC), and Dr. Gaston Kenfack, IFCAI Council Member and President of the Association for the Promotion of Arbitration in Africa (APAA).  “I do believe that we all paddle to the same direction, to promote good quality arbitration” stated Stefano Azzali in his presentation.

It is worth mentioning that the webinar was attended by more than 360 participants.
