We are proud to announce that the Arbitration Rules of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) have been selected for use in the 35th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Commercial Arbitration Moot taking place in 2028.
The Vis Moot is the worldโs premier competition in international commercial arbitration and legal advocacy with participation of more than 400 Universities. For the first time in the Mootโs history, the rules of an independent international arbitration institution headquartered in the Arab region and the African continent will guide proceedings at this prestigious global event.
This milestone marks a moment of profound pride for CRCICA and a recognition of its growing international stature, neutrality, and modern arbitration rules which has entered into force as of 15 January 2024.
As thousands of law students, professors, and international arbitrators from every continent will engage with the CRCICA Rules, the 35th edition of the Vis Moot will reaffirm CRCICAโs as a leading regional arbitration institution.
