On 15 November 2018, and during the Seminar on Commercial Arbitration organized by the Riyadh Chamber, both institutions signed a Cooperation Agreement to enhance cooperation between the two institutions and promote arbitration and ADR techniques through joint capacity building and the organization of training programs for lawyers and arbitrators in Riyadh.
The agreement was signed on behalf of CRCICA by his Excellency Prince Dr. Bandar Ben Salman Al-Saud Vice-Chairman of CRCICA’s Board of Trustees and on behalf of the Riyadh Chamber, by Mr. Ajlan Bin Abdulaziz Alajlan, Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber Board. The signing ceremony was attended by Princess Hala Bint Khaled Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, Director of Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation, Former Legal Advisor at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority and Honorary Member of CRCICA as well as Dr. Ismail Selim the Director of the CRCICA.
The Agreement involved, inter alia, promoting arbitration and ADR techniques through joint capacity building events (workshops, seminars, …etc.) and information exchange.
