The global Vis Moot community continues to expand, and pre-moots remain an essential pillar in preparing the next generation of international arbitration practitioners. Against this backdrop, the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), in cooperation with Alexandria University, successfully hosted the Seventh Edition of the AlexU–CRCICA Vis Pre-Moot from 13–15 February 2026.
Held at the iconic Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt, the three-day event offered participants an inspiring environment that seamlessly blended academic excellence with the city’s rich legal and cultural heritage.
As the only sponsored Vis Pre-Moot in Africa and the Middle East, the forum proudly continued its legacy of fostering talent without financial barriers. In line with this commitment, the organizers provided a highly accessible platform by charging no registration fees for participating teams or arbitrators. To ensure diverse international representation, visa assistance was fully available, alongside limited travel allowances and accommodation coverage provided upon request.
Throughout the event, Vis Moot participants from various universities rigorously refined their advocacy skills, presenting complex arguments and receiving invaluable feedback from leading practitioners and experts in international arbitration. The Seventh Edition successfully advanced CRCICA’s mission to support legal education, build regional capacity, and connect aspiring advocates with the global arbitration community.
CRCICA and Alexandria University extend their warmest gratitude to all the teams, coaches, and arbitrators whose expertise and dedication made this edition a remarkable success.
