8th Annual Vis Middle-East Pre-Moot, Bahrain, February 2018

On 22-23 February 2018, Dr. Dalia Hussein, CRCICA Deputy Director participated as an arbitrator in the 8th Annual Vis Pre-Moot competition, held at the Royal University for Women (“RUW”), Manama, Bahrain. Dr. Hussein also attended the 4th Annual Middle East Arbitrator Roundtable held on 21 February 2018 at the RUW, where regional and international arbitrators discussed and analyzed the mock case, or the ‘vis problem’.

The Pre-Moot is a regional event that brings together over 50 regionally renowned lawyers, arbitration practitioners, and judges, alongside 15 law school teams from Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates to foster best practices in international commercial arbitration through a simulated arbitration.
