The Seminar was delivered by Mr. Mohamed Khodeir; Executive President of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), and by Mr. Naser Shehata; Legal Counsel at (GAFI) who delivered an introductory speech on the provisions of the new investment law. Further, Mr. Khodeir dealt with the practical aspects of the new investment law and highlighted its inclusion of a reform of the procedures to establish investment projects and its provision for better guarantees and incentives for investments. The aim of the reform, he added, is to attract investments in the regions in need. The lecture was followed by discussions.
