Dr. Ismail Selim contributed as an arbitrator to the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot at its 30th anniversary held during 31 March – 6 April 2023, Vienna. The Vis Moot was organized by Association for the Organization and Promotions of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and Thirties Anniversary of Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot Hong Kong. The Prevailing Team was the University of Vienna (Oral Hearings), the University of Belgrade (First Runner Up). The CRCICA was a supporting organization for the Moot.

The CRCICA mourns the loss of Prof. Eric E. Bergsten, the Founder, Former Director and President, and Honorary President of the Vis Moot (Association) who has passed away on 1 July 2023. Through many years of contributing and supporting the Vis Moot, the CRCICA cooperated with and appreciate the impact and achievements of Prof. Bergsten. His legacy and dedication will always be remembered by the Moot students, students, coaches and arbitrators around the world.
