CRCICA Documentary Screening of “Between North and South” in Paris, Vienna and Abu Dhabi

Between North & South is a 40 minute landmark documentary produced by CRCICA, directed by Ismail El Mokadem, and co-produced by Escape Home, on the occasion of CRCICA’s 40th anniversary. It tells the story of the incredible people dedicated to resolving trade disputes in Africa and Asia through international arbitration. Focusing on the specific role international arbitration has played in relation to the economic development of the Global South, and the tremendous growth witnessed in Asia and Africa in the last forty years, the documentary was filmed across several countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, Nigeria, Egypt and Austria. UNCITRAL is associated with the documentary through an interview with its Secretary General, Ms. Anna Joubin-Bret.

During the first quarter of 2023, CRCICA’s documentary « Between North & South » was screened in Abu Dhabi, Paris and Vienna, at the Paris Arbitration Week (PAW), the Willem C. Vis Moot in Vienna and its Middle-East Pre-Moot in Abu Dhabi, respectively.
