CRCICA Mourns the loss of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Badran

CRCICA has lost on 27 November 2019 Prof. Dr. Mohamed Badran, Member of CRCICA’s Advisory Committee. Prof. Dr. Badran was Professor and Former Head of the Public Law Department and a Vice Dean for post-graduate studies; Faculty of Law, Cairo University and Senior Partner of Badran Law Office for Arbitration and Legal Consultations. Prof. Dr. Badran was a prominent lawyers and scholar. He authored more than 25 books and articles in Law. He was also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London); legal Advisor to the Egyptian Parliament on international loan agreements and investment policies; and an International Arbitrator. Prof. Dr. Badran had broad experience in commercial, shipping, petroleum, construction, and government contracts law. The serious and honest devotion of Prof. Dr. Badran path is not limited to his professional career but is echoed as well in his noble spirit and friendly attitude. Prof. Dr. Badran is not only a loss for CRCICA, but also for the Egyptian and international legal community, since he was very knowledgeable in law both academically and practically.
