CRCICA’s Director on Disputes’ Avoidance at the 7th SOAS/CIMAC Conference on Arbitration in Africa hosted by CIMAC-Casablanca International Mediation and Arbitration Conference in Casablanca.

Dr Ismail Selim, Director of the Centre, was invited as virtual Speaker at the 7th SOAS/CIMAC Conference on Arbitration in Africa, hosted by CIMAC (Casablanca International Mediation and Arbitration Conference) in Casablanca on 23rd & 24th November 2021.

In a panel featured on the second day of the event, with co-panellists Ms. Lise Bosman, Pr. Emilia Onyema, M. Hussein Haeri, Dr. Ahmadou Dieng, Dr. Ismail addressed the subject of Prevention of Disputes and African States, through the angle of the Egyptian government’s experience in the avoidance of disputes, also addressing the role that African arbitral centres may play in the same.
