During 11 – 14 December 2023, Dr. Selim spoke at the Training Programme: Building a Strong Foundation for a Successful Arbitration organized by Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). Dr. Selim contributed to the session titled: “Building a Strong Foundation for a Successful Arbitration Career”. His presentation delved into Public Policy as a bar to enforcement of arbitral awards. In this respect, Dr Selim shed light on the relevant French Courts decisions and doctrines of “contrôle minimaliste” and “contrôle maximaliste”.
