First Arbitration Case Conducted Under CRCICA Rules in the French Language

In January 2022, CRCICA registered its first arbitration case in the French language, since the issuance of the French version of its Arbitration Rules in 2017.  The employment dispute between an African Employee and a renowned African NGO was referred to arbitration under CRCICA’s Arbitration Rules according to the arbitration clause incorporated by reference into the parties’ agreement.  The parties chose a European sole arbitrator and the upcoming procedural hearing is set to be held via CRCICA’s videoconference facilities. The arbitration agreement was in the by-laws of the African NGO.
