In his new capacity as member of the Francarbi BoD, Dr. Selim attended the Board meeting of 13 January 2018 held at the office of the PDGB Law Firm, Paris- France. The meeting was presided by Monsieur Guy Keutgen, Former President of the Belgian Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (CEPANI). Discussions involved collaboration between Francarbi and CRCICA in organizing an international conference in a sub-Saharan African state in 2019 as well as the program of next Francarbi Colloquium which will be held in Geneva in 2019 on International Arbitration and Public Interests “Arbitrage international et intérêts publics”.
During the meeting, Monsieur Charles Jarrosson and Monsieur Jean-François Tossens reported the success of the conference on: The use of French as the language of arbitration “L’usage du Français Comme Langue de L’arbitrage”, as a unique event with a sophisticated thematic focus on the relation between the French language and arbitration.
