Professor Dr. Mohamed S. Abdel Wahab Appointed Director of CIArb Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration

Prof. Dr. Mohamed S. Abdel Wahab, Chair of Private International Law Department and Professor of International Arbitration (Cairo University), Founding Partner and Head of International Arbitration, Zulficar & Partners Law Firm and Member of the CRCICA Advisory Committee has been appointed Director of the CIArb Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration on 6-14 September 2019 at University College, Oxford. The Diploma is one of CIArb’s leading ADR training programmes delivered in Oxford for more than twenty years. It is worth noting that Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab is the Former President of the CIArb Egypt Branch and Trustee for the CIArb’s MENA/Indian Subcontinent Regions.

Upon being appointed as Director, Professor Dr Abdel Wahab stated: “It is indeed a great privilege and an honour to serve as the Director of the CIArb’s flagship Diploma, which has helped, and will continue to help, seed and promote the golden standards of practice in international arbitration…, I am truly proud to follow the glistening path set by all past illustrious Directors, whose stature, work, wisdom and commitment will forever inspire innovation and excellence in our hearts and minds”.
