On 12 December 2019, the CRCICA Advisory Committee (AC) held its quarterly meeting at CRCICA’s premises. The meeting was attended from Egypt by Judge. Dr. Borhan AMRALLAH and Dr. Ismail Selim. Other members participated by a conference call: Mr. Ahmed OUERFELLI (Tunisia), Mr. Craig TEVENDALE (UK), Mr. Lijun CAO (China), Prof. Dr. Mohamed ABDEL RAOUF (Egypt), Prof. Dr. Mohamed S. ABDEL WAHAB (Egypt), Prof. Nassib ZIADE (Bahrain- Lebanon), and Prof. Dr. Philippe LEBOULANGER (France). In representation of CRCICA, Dr. Dalia Hussein, Deputy Director, attended the meeting.
At the onset of the meeting, members stood a minute of silence in the memory of Counselor Amin ELMAHDI, late Chairman of the Committee and Prof. Mohamed BADRAN, late Member of the Committee. Members elected by acclamation Judge. Dr. Borhan AMRALLAH as Chairman of the AC until the end of the AC term in 30 April 2020 in accordance with the AC By-Laws. The meeting also discussed the draft of a Practice Note IX submitted by CRCICA related to the time limit for rendering the final award and other case management related matters.
