ICCA had the pleasure of celebrating the soft launch of the Arabic translation of the Second Edition of ICCA’s Guide to the Interpretation of the 1958 New York Convention during The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA)’s Sharm El Sheikh IX Conference, on 4 December 2024.
The event took place after the first day’s last session and was attended by several judges who each received a copy of the Guide. Captured in the images are the Egyptian Minister of Justice, H.E. Judge Adnan Fangary, being presented with a copy of the Guide by ICCA Governing Board member Mohamed ABDEL RAOUF, together with fellow ICCA Governing and Advisory Board Members: Funke Adekoya, Vladimir Khvalei and Dominique Hascher, in addition to Ahmed Husain, Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) CEO, as well as conference host Ismail Selim, CRCICA Director.

Further translations of the Guide are in the works, with a plan for a total of 31 language versions of the Second Edition.
