Training Course on: Arbitration in Engineering Contracts

On 18-22 June 2022, the International Specialized Lawyers (ISL) and the Greater Amman Municipality, co-organized with CRCICA and the International Federation of Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI) the training course entitled “Arbitration in Engineering Contracts’’ at the King Hussein Cultural Center, Amman, Jordan. The course aimed to give an overview on the engineering contracts and the settlement of their disputes by arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution boards.

The course was conducted by expert speakers; Dr Ismail Selim; Director of CRCICA and President of the IFCAI, Prof Dr. Ahmed Waly; Managing Partner – WALY Arbitration & Contract Administration Firm and Mr. Osama Al-Bitar; Attorney at Law, International Specialized Lawyers and Secretary General of Arabic Union For Protection of IP.

Alongside the course, the ISL, CRCICA, IFCAI and Greater Amman Municipality co-organized a seminar on 17 June 2023 titled Institutional International Arbitration: “The CRCICA and Prominent Worldwide Arbitral Institutions” at the Al Hussein Cultural Center, Amman. CRCICA’s Director presented CRCICA’s background, activities and recognitions.
